In preparation for this annual event that takes place in fields and parks across America each spring, we practiced the art of egg hunting with our Noah very (semi-)diligently. When the big day arrived, the champ proved relatively successful with the hunting of his first egg, but was quickly thwarted in his mission by the presence of other kids. These same kids that threw off Noah's game also took the rest of the eggs.
In the end, this first-time hunter gathered a total of about two and a half eggs. But the joy of it is that he was not counting his eggs at all.
Of course neither were we.
But next year, he will dominate.
