Tourists in the rain. 

A dreadfully dreary day to go sightseeing, but the Azoti family and I braved it anyway. 

This was the last day I would get to spend with my Bangladeshi family from Togo.  Due to visa issues, they stayed in Bangkok to finish up the fellows program while I returned to Dhaka.  

It was a lovely last day spent in each other's company.

Discussed some intriguing aspects of how to address fundamental issues through language development with these two chaps today.  It was some good talk.

Today I looked over the writings of some smart people with coffee and watched the rain fall on Bangkok.

Today involved scanning books and turning them into pdfs...and also appreciating that my room had four beds.   

Yeah, I managed to spread my stuff on every bed.

Exploring the City.

Today I set out to discover Bangkok.

I found a cute hemp purse that cannot catch on fire, bunnies and a fellow American from South Georgia with whom to share dinner. Good day.

Bangkok! 

The Azotis and I ventured over to Thailand to have the first debrief of our program.  

This was one of about thirty checked bags of Daal (or Dall) that were on our flight from Bangladesh.

 Jerome was pretty overwhelmed at first, but about 5 minutes later he was at the taxi stand speaking in Thai...that kid is seriously adaptable.
